On May 28, 2026, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) issued its Decision and Order approving funding for GrandBridge Energy Inc.’s (GrandBridge Energy) Non-Wires Solution Program (NWS Program), effective May 1, 2026. The NWS Program consists of a series of non-wires solutions - including demand response, distributed energy resources and smart energy solutions - to provide immediate capacity relief until a new transformer station can be built.
