The OEB has released its report to the Minister of Energy and Mines entitled Streamlining Ontario’s Electricity Connection Framework. Prepared in response to the Minister’s Integrated Energy Plan Directive, the Report reviews customer connection procedures across Ontario’s electricity distribution and transmission systems and outlines proposed actions to support more efficient, transparent and coordinated connection processes for load customers. The OEB is also moving forward with Phase II of the Distribution Customer Connections Review and Streamlining Transmission Connections consultations to support implementation of proposals set out in the Report.
