What's New
The OEB has released an updated variance settlement factor that is to be used by electricity distributors to calculate a one-time credit or charge for consumers who choose to stop purchasing electricity through the Regulated Price Plan. This factor is called the "Final RPP Variance Settlement Factor" and is updated on the OEB website monthly.
The Ontario Energy Board is pleased to welcome Pamela Schott to our Board of Directors. Mrs. Schott joins our existing Board members in strengthening trust within the sector through strong leadership and governance.
The OEB has issued a letter on the inflation factors to be used to set rates for certain electricity transmitters and electricity and natural gas distributors for 2027.
