The OEB has issued its Decision and Order on Essex Powerlines' application for electricity distribution rates and other charges beginning January 1, 2025.
On August 29, 2024, the OEB issued its Decision and Order on Essex Powerlines' application seeking approval to establish a new deferral account (PowerShare Deferral Account) to capture commodity costs that exceed the Hourly Ontario Energy Price for any kWh procured by Essex Powerlines through its PowerShare pilot project.
