Anthony Zlahtic
Anthony Zlahtic was appointed as a full-time Commissioner in December 2020. Mr. Zlahtic has more than 35 years of energy sector experience. He has held roles with Union Gas Limited (affiliates St. Clair Pipelines Ltd. and Empire State Pipeline), The Consumers’ Gas Company Ltd., Enbridge Inc. (affiliates Vector Pipeline and Rabaska LNG), Ontario Power Generation, and most recently served in a senior role with Capital Power Corporation. Mr. Zlahtic’s roles have included directing all facets of the development and commercial management of natural gas pipeline and storage facilities, power generation plants and acquisition of energy infrastructure in Canada and the U.S. In this capacity, he has directed multi-disciplined teams and led successful stakeholder consultation with landowners, Canadian and U.S. Federal, provincial/state agencies and regulators, municipalities, and Indigenous groups, which included impact benefit agreements and partnerships with Indigenous groups. Mr. Zlahtic holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Laurentian University and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
