What's new

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is pleased to launch the Centralized Capacity Information Map (CCIM). The CCIM provides a unified view of electricity distributors’ available capacity to accommodate potential customer loads and distributed energy resource hosting capacity for new generating facilities. Additionally, it supports the Government’s vision to deliver affordable, secure, reliable and clean energy that enables economic growth across Ontario. It also provides interested stakeholders with consistent capacity information across the province’s distribution networks – actionable business intelligence that can help to drive investment and economic growth in Ontario.

The OEB has posted Price Comparison templates for Natural Gas Contracts for Utilities Kingston valid from February 1 - April 30, 2026.

The OEB has released an updated variance settlement factor that is to be used by electricity distributors to calculate a one-time credit or charge for consumers who choose to stop purchasing electricity through the Regulated Price Plan. This factor is called the "Final RPP Variance Settlement Factor" and is updated on the OEB website monthly.
