Today the Ontario Energy Board (the Board) issued an Aboriginal Consultation Policy (the Policy) for comment. The Policy arises from the Board’s commitment to ensuring appropriate consultation is carried out with respect to applications to construct new facilities, where there is a potential impact on the rights or interests of Aboriginal peoples
