System Reliability: Major Events and Customer Specific Measures

The OEB has commenced a new initiative related to reliability measures and objectives. The purpose of the initiative is to:
- Determine a definition of a “Major Event” that will be used to normalize reliability performance data.
- Develop criteria and new reporting requirements that will be used to evaluate a distributor’s response to a Major Event.
- Establish “customer specific” system reliability measures and associated new reporting requirements.
