We’ve made a number of important changes to OEB.ca to align with our modernization mandate and advance our goal to be a top-quartile regulator. Based on external research, website analytics and user data, and internal input, the improvements also reflect the feedback we’ve heard from our industry users who asked for greater transparency into our work and who rely on OEB.ca to carry out their regulatory responsibilities. The refreshed website will make it easier to do business with us, and is another clear example of how we’re taking action to deliver public value.
The Phase 1 changes include:
- Improving the navigation by bringing together industry and consumer content into one streamlined menu. This makes it easier for all users to find our content.
- A fresh new design that aligns with our evolving brand and reflects best practices in web user experience.
- A revamped home page that brings forward the most popular content and tasks across all user groups.
- Improving access to information by including a Regulatory Document Search option directly in the main search bar.
Phase 2 of the project will take OEB.ca to the next level. It involves more effectively leveraging the data we collect from industry and taking advantage of our internal IT systems to present information in a modern, user friendly and intuitive way.
