Review of Part II of the Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010
Details
In December 2013, the Minister of Energy asked the OEB to undertake a review of Part II of the Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010 (ECPA). To assist the OEB in responding to this request, the OEB engaged consumers, electricity retailers, natural gas marketers, electricity and gas distributors and other interested stakeholders on their experience with, and the effectiveness of, the legal and regulatory regime applicable to the competitive energy retail markets.
The OEB commenced a consultation to address the findings and implement the recommendations contained in the ECPA Report. Read more here .
