The Board issued Guideline G-2011-0001: Smart Meter Funding and Cost Recovery – Final Disposition. This guideline replaces Guideline G-2008-0002: Smart Meter Funding and Cost Recovery issued October 22, 2008.
Guideline G-2011-0001 contains information to assist electricity distributors to make applications seeking approval and disposition of smart meter costs as smart meter deployment and TOU price implementation are completed or nearly completed. The Board also issued an associated Smart Meter Model which corresponds to Guideline G-2011-0001 and previously communicated accounting guidance for smart meter cost accounting and recovery.

The Board issued Guideline G-2008-0002 - Smart Meter Funding and Cost Recovery.
November 1, 2007
On October 26, 2007 the Board issued rate orders to Chatham-Kent Hydro Inc. and Middlesex Power Distribution Corporation.
On October 23, 2007 the Board issued a rate order to Toronto Hydro Electric System Limited.

The Board issued a decision and order in the matter of motions by Toronto Hydro Electric System (EB-2007-0747) and Hydro Ottawa Limited (EB-2007-0748) requesting the Board review and vary certain aspects of the Decision and Order in the smart metering proceeding EB-2007-0063.

On August 8, 2007 the Board issued a Decision with Reasons for the smart meter cost recovery combined proceeding (EB-2007-0063).
